Surgelogic OEM/Assembler Kit

Kits allow manufacturers to add industry leading surge protection capability directly to customized equipment. OEMs benefit from being able to keep wire lengths to a minimum. This optimizes the effect of clamping voltage of the SPD. Kits are UL 1449 recognized assemblies and come with a backplane mounted SPD, mounting hardware and diagnostic display with 36 inch cables.

Surgelogic® External Nipple Mounted Surge Protective Device (SPD)

Nipple mounted devices are for use at service entrance and branch panel locations. The HWA Series products provide a complete line of application solutions and meet the requirements of ANSI/IEEE C62.41C, and UL 1449 Third Edition requirements. Peak surge current ratings per phase range from 50kA to 120kA. All units have a Short Circuit Rating of 200kA.
